WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR?

I have always wanted to see the documentary ‘Who Killed The Electric Car’? by writer and director, Chris Paine.  I finally watched in via Netflix, and let me tell you – what a movie!  I thought I knew how corrupt BIG OIL, the automobile industry and government(s) were – boy was I wrong.  Money talks!  Just when you think there are those who want to work on making products that will help the consumer, the environment and our health better – money is waved in their faces and all of a sudden their ‘good intentions’ fly out the window.

I could hardly contain myself as I watched this film.  So many emotions flowed through me;  I was angered at how easily people were swayed to not think for themselves, I was appalled at how the automobile industry acted more on greed than becoming innovators for tomorrow, I was sickened by how government lacked the courage to stand up against lobbyist in order to create positive change for innovation, the environment and for our health.

So who killed the electric car?  The consumer, the government, the automobile industry or the big oil companies?  Judge for yourself, educate yourself and stand up for positive change for a cleaner, brighter and innovative tomorrow – the possibilities are endless!!!
